Welcome
I am a graduate student in mathematics at Washington University in St Louis and will graduate with a PhD in May, 2009. Currently I am looking for academic employment to begin after July 1, 2009. This site is meant to give potential employers a detailed picture of my research, teaching, and service experiences. I will be attending the 2009 Joint Meetings in Washington, DC. Please contact me if you would like to arrange an interview. Downloadable (pdf) copies of my application materials can be found below.
In 2003, I graduated
Summa cum Laude from
Augustana College with majors in both mathematics and computer science/mathematics, as well as a minor in philosophy. I began graduate work in mathematics at Washington University in August 2003. Since passing my qualifying exams and oral exams, I have been working with my thesis advisors, Professor
Rachel Roberts from Washington University and Professor
Josh Sabloff from Haverford College.
Brad is my middle name and the name I prefer to use in polite conversation. If I'm stuck on hold with some sort of customer service company, then I'll use Michael.
All of my pertinent contact information can be found below or on the
Contact page. Feel free to contact me with any requests, comments or suggestions. Please be aware though that I am not currently the
governor of Oklahoma. However he did graciously send me a hat when he was running for governor. It even says "Education First", which is certainly a platform I can support.
Thanks,
